Line of Events

A retired CIA agent is hunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when he is unexpectedly visited by an unknown man after nearly three decades. in March due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and subsequently treated for it.

This will be a short review

After his recovery, the series returned to production. Bridges described the return as coming back after a "long weekend" in 2022 in July on the podcast. Presented at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024).

Season 1 was great

Honestly, the first number of episodes were nothing short of epic, Jeff Bridges is sublime. It keeps you completely glued to see what happens next. Good story and he really is a breaker, as little as possible to deal with that is what we want to see from this so called Old Man.

And it produced results in large quantities

Well, I know that’s exactly what I wanted to see. Unfortunately, season 2 started off as a completely different show, slow, boring, bad storytelling, I almost lost it, bad acting from Lithgow. Everything is basically the opposite of everything that was great about Season 1.

Very disappointing so far

It feels like they should have made a miniseries and left it at that.
