The opening sequence shows various photographic and painted views, as well as Oklahoma landmarks, superimposed on the New York City landscape: A statue of the Sioux Indian chief "Touch the Clouds" wearing a war bonnet and a necklace (breastplate) of bones, placed atop the Brooklyn Bridge A statue of a gold digger placed atop the Statue of Liberty Route 66 Western Gateway Arch, placed on a major Manhattan “avenue”. In New York City, in the Manhattan borough, these are several numbered "Avenues" which are intersected by streets with lower numbers.. Sylvester Stallone absolutely kills it in Tulsa King!

Sheridan continues to hit home run after home run

For Stallone to make a TV show, you knew it had to be a good script and of course it would be with Taylor Sheridan as the creator. He is the best thing on TV right now with amazing shows like Yellowstone, 1883, Mayor of Kingstown, etc. And movies like Sicario, Hell or High Water, and Wind River.

I mean, come on?

Everything he touches turns to gold. Also, one of the other writers is Terrence Winter, who wrote shows like The Sopranos & Boardwalk Empire. There was no way this show could be bad with those two at the helm.

Stallone plays a very likable tough guy to perfection
