On an island of haves and have-nots, teenager John B enlists his three best friends to hunt for a legendary treasure linked to his father’s disappearance. Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline and their OBX; co-stars quiz each other on the best lines from the hit Netflix series. The film was shot in Charleston, South Carolina; it was originally supposed to be filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina.

It never stopped

I watched everything under the sun. It just came out on Netflix and I started watching it. It’s a fun and enjoyable show.

It’s hard to categorize the genre

The casting is incredible…every actor knocks it out of the park. The story continues at an engaging pace until the very end, but in retrospect, each episode can feel like a stand-alone episode… It’s a great achievement and a credit to the writers.

It’s rated m, but there’s no nudity or gore. I see no reason why a 13 year old couldn’t watch it. Funny, lots of little adventures, lots of misadventures, romance, shipwrecks, storms, fires, gunshots, barrels, prison, boys saving girls, girls saving boys, parents being the devil, parents being an angel.

Perfect for quarantine
