Line of Events

Following the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, is putting on a show to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld. Colin Farrell and Kristin Milioti talk about how they became the leaders of Gotham’s criminal underworld. Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of the Penguin to smoke tobacco in Batman (2022), but failed.

However, for his own series, the character is portrayed as a casual smoker who prefers cigars. An umbrella falls and the logo is changed to the Warner Bros. logo, featuring Graham Norton and guests: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024).

wow The Penguin is simply awesome

Everyone knows what a great actor Colin Farrell is, but he’s not recognizable here as the Penguin. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him nominated for a few awards for his role in this movie. The biggest surprise was Cristina Milioti as Sofia Falcone.

I was wrong

I wasn’t too sure when I heard she was cast, she’s a good actress but she didn’t think the role was for her. She’s just as good as Farrell in this and makes me think Sofia Falcone is a real Penguin rival. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her nominated for a few awards for her role in this movie either.

This isn’t your typical DC or Marvel show, it’s a full-on gangster series. This series takes place in the now-partly destroyed Gotham City underground and is a great follow-up to Matt Reeves’ Batman.
