The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago included housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, general store, and more (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The asphalt streets and alleys were all that remained, and the fake town was built on top of them. When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well.

The rope was not thrown by Martin

When Boyd comes out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room and is chained to the wall. Appears in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be), written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, performed by Pixies.

Seasons 1 and 2 were great, but they unnecessarily lengthen the episodes of season 3, which is annoying

The episode of season 3 was good, but then they just pile on some moments that don’t make us emotionally connect with the situation and mostly caused a few unwanted conversations with the characters. It used to be very emotional, but now it’s become a drama that seems out of place. I think after the first episode of season 3, the remaining 8 episodes can actually be compressed into 3 episodes at most.

Maybe they have another season planned

But this method of lengthening episodes is not ideal because most fans find it annoying, including me. I hope they fix this next season.
