Line of Events

Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private investigator’s ad and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary "El Agente Topo". A remake of Salainen agentti vanhainkodissa (2020). I think a lot of fiction is naturally meant to make you think, with the mindset of “It was an honor to share in the lives of these fictional characters.” This show undeniably hits that goal well. Even those who come for the mystery, who are less focused on it, should be captivated by the humanity that is evident not only in the writing but also in the performances of all the characters. Props to all departments involved. Although Netflix has been hard at work renewing the series lately, I hope they follow through on this opportunity and give them a season 2, as I hope to see more of these incredible characters’ journeys.
