Morihito Otogi, a high school student who comes from a family of monsters, lives a peaceful, ordinary life until his childhood friend Niko moves in with him. Nico is a witch, and she chooses Morihito as her familiar. While Niko is happy to be reunited with her old friend and is in love with him, Morihito receives the dangerous task of protecting her from the predicted disaster.
