Emmy-nominated Meghann Fahy, the rising star of The White Lotus and The Perfect Couple, plays Violet, a widowed mother on her first date in years who arrives at an upscale restaurant to her relief, only to find that her date, Henry (Brandon Sklenar of Its Ends with Us), is more charming and attractive than she expected. Their chemistry falters, however, as Violet becomes irritated and then terrorized when she anonymously sends him a text message on his cell phone. He is instructed not to tell anyone and to follow instructions, or the hooded figure seen on his home’s security cameras will kill Violet’s young son and his sister, who works as a babysitter.
