Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-running rivalry comes to a head. The same location was also used to film Trenwith House in the BBC’s Poldark TV adaptation in 2015.

5 minutes into the first episode and I was hooked

When I first saw that Rivals was coming out I was squealing with excitement. I was also nervous ~ having been a fan of the books.

The clothes, the make-up, the music ~ what a soundtrack

Each episode is fast-paced, there are no moments where you feel bored or dragged out, as is often the case with many of these miniseries. The characters are all so unique and played so well, the acting and cast are fantastic.

I understand the disappointment of the change in look. but it’s really not a big deal and I don’t think it will have any lasting impact.

This series is funny, bold, colorful and nostalgic. It doesn’t disappoint at all, and we can take a moment to appreciate David Tennent, who once again plays the “villain” perfectly.
